2 days of lessons and evening socialising for all levels of horses and riders. Included in the cost are 3 lessons of your choice (any extra are changed) plus unlimited use of the farm ride, stable and bedding for your horse and all food for the weekend which will be:

Friday: evening meal

Saturday: breakfast, lunch, evening meal
Sunday: breakfast and lunch

We will be at the camp facilities located near the cross country complex.

This camp is for all levels wanting to improve, boot camp training or generally have loads of fun, you will definitely go home with a smile on your face…. It’s just FANTASTIC. It’s not just for jumpers, non-jumpers all welcome, even the farm ride has optionally jumps so you can always just go around for a chill or warm up before a lesson!

The Venue

 

Set in beautiful Cheshire, conveniently located near the M6. The Equestrian centre boasts extensive facilities including stabling, parking, and numerous outdoor arenas with show jumps and cross country course catering for complete novices to advanced eventers.

There is also a 6.5 mile farm ride with numerous jumps and even a river crossing which is prefect to go for a cool down!

At camp we will have access to a kitchen, dining facilities, showers and toilet area.

 

Somerford Park is located on A54, 3 miles south of Holmes Chapel and 2 miles north of Congleton.

 

Accommodation / stabling / food

 

 

The camp includes stabling for your horse from Friday lunchtime, to Sunday 4pm sharp, which at this time the stables should be completely evacuated and cleaned out.

2 bales of shavings are provided (should you wish to purchase anymore please state this on your booking form. You will need to provide your own hay & hard feed as well as buckets, nets and mucking out equipment.

Accommodation is either your horsebox / trailer or a tent: you can even bring your own caravan if you have one!

Everyone camps on a field adjacent to the stables.

You will be expected to bring your own cutlery, plates & glasses / mug etc. There will be a rota for all to help out in the kitchen at some point also a poo picking rota which everyone will have to do.

Meals included in the cost of camp are: 1st evening, next day breakfast, lunch & dinner, last day breakfast & lunch.

There will be free access to coffee/tea making facilities & soft drinks will be available.

If you have a guest for the weekend (non-rider), they may be catered for at an additional £35 / head for the whole week-end or £9 BBQ only on the first evening.

 

Tuition 

 

The cost of camp includes 3 lessons or your choice, if you wish to have additional please state on the forms, also unlimited use of the farm ride.

Additional lesson will cost £19 / person / lesson

 

Lessons will be in small groups of no more than 4 persons working at a similar level. Dressage lessons will be groups of 3 or joint.

The trainers we use are all well seasoned and approachable – please check the website for updates as trainers are confirmed.

Total cost for rider/ horse will be £195 to include as stated above
